2022 has been a rewarding year for us. We have closed 53 deals and welcomed 53 deals and welcomed 51 new companies into our portfolio, measuring up to our performance from the preceding year. We would also like to congratulate our 62 upround & follow-on fundraising companies. Furthermore, we witnessed exceptional growth, major milestones, and exceeding achievements in our portfolio companies.
Over the past two years, UpHonest Scout has grown more rapidly with over 260 members. They come from a wide range of industries and fields, but they all have one thing in common: the passion of innovation. In the year of 2022, we hosted 60+ community events in different cities gathering young entrepreneurs and engineers who are interested in screening advanced technologies and innovators. We are excited to welcome 180 new members join our Scout through Batch 5, Batch 6, and Batch 7.

In 2022，The Beta Fellowship community continues to grow, and has recently surpassed 5,000 members! This impressive milestone is a reflection of the diverse range of groundbreaking individuals that comprise the network. Beta Fellowship is also proud to support the fundraising process for over 20 startups. These startups vary in stages from pre-seed to series A, including Aspecta (3m seed+), Chataverse (500K YC W23, pre-seed), WuKong Education(10M+, Series A), Leafy (Seed round)....

As we always drive on the road of talents and innovators, even at school, we pay much more to invest in people. Our 122UP accelerator program focuses on pre-product, pre-traction companies. While we still strive to invest in the best founders in the U.S., we started doubling down on immigrant founders, especially Global Chinese founders. Cheers to 10 companies joining our first batch. 2022 was also an especially meaningful year for UpHonest as we hosted our first summit with 20+ unicorn founders, early-stage portfolios, and co-investors as speakers who discussed the industry challenges and opportunities. The total number of attendees hit 368. As a founders-driven VC, we also accomplished to expand our founders' community larger than ever with 180+ new scout members and 110+ founders network.
